Some first-hand success stories from some of our team members

 

Meredith Schreiber – Director of Operations, Arlington Park

I started as an intern at Ravinia in the summer of 1997, between my junior and senior years in college. Following graduation I was hired as the Catering Manager at Ravinia and have since worked at several properties, including the opening of Conseco Fieldhouse in 1999 and Bradley Center in 2005.

I have been very fortunate in my time with Levy and have been given tremendous opportunities to learn and grow in my career. I truly love what I do and have been lucky to have some wonderful mentors to guide me as I've taken on new positions and challenges.

 

Mike Tueros – Regional Manager of Operations

I started as an intern (out of Michigan State University) at Ravinia during the summer of 1996; and managed the then Le Cafe. Upon graduation in May 1997, I accepted permanent placement with Levy Restaurants, and began my career as Manager of the Mirabelle at Ravinia. My first opportunity as Director of Operations was opening the SBC Center (now AT&T Center) in San Antonio in June 2002. I was promoted to Regional Director of Premium Services for the West Coast in March 2006; and assumed current role of Regional Manager in March 2007.

Levy Restaurants has provided me with incredible professional opportunities during my career, and have helped me develop into a successful operator through participation in both development programs (Top Gun and the Master Program) and by stimulating and encouraging my entrepreneurial spirit.

 

Ubert Berrum – Director of Operations, Lincoln Park Zoo

I started with Levy Restaurants in 1990 at Watertower Place as a dishwasher. I went through several of Levy’s training programs and received promotions over the next 8 years that took me to my current position today as Director of Operations for the Lincoln Park Zoo. This is the only company I have ever worked for and just can not imagine my life without Levy Restaurants.

 

Cyndi Berlinger – Director of Luxery Suites, American Airlines Center

To think that just six years ago, I started with Levy doing a management internship and now I’m the Director of 144 Luxury Suites at the American Airlines Center! I have many wonderful memories from my experiences with Levy and have developed great relationships with managers from all over the country. I am very proud to be working for Levy Restaurants and happy knowing that I am part of such an amazing family.
