Eddie Romero - Executive Chef

Most recently chef de cuisine of The Club House restaurant, managed by Kevin Costner and Jack Nicklaus in Oak Brook, IL, Eddie Romero returns to Levy Restaurants as Executive Chef of the Toyota Center, home of the NBA’s Houston Rockets and WNBA’s Houston Comets.

Romero started with Levy Restaurants in April, 1991, as supervisor for the Luxury Diamond Suites at Chicago’s U.S. Cellular Field, formerly Comiskey Park. After nearly a decade of working with many talented chefs, Romero was promoted to executive chef of the White Sox Park.

Though he has a bachelor’s degree in accounting from his native Mexico, Romero considers himself a graduate of Levy Restaurants, with a major in cooking and hospitality. He credits his strong work ethics and kitchen management skills with his extensive experience in Levy’s high-volume, high-quality restaurants.

As a result of Romero’s dedication, he has been selected to open several major sports and entertainment venues for Levy across the country, including: The Edward Jones Dome in St. Louis, Miami’s American Airlines Arena, Kansas City’s Arrowhead Stadium, the Staple Center in Los Angeles, Washington D.C.’s MCI Center and the Conseco Fieldhouse in Indianapolis.

Romero has also been a key player on Levy’s culinary teams for major sports events like the Super Bowl, All-Star Game, The World Series and MLB Playoffs.

Celebrating its 25th anniversary, Chicago-based Levy Restaurants is recognized as one of the country’s fast-growing and most critically-acclaimed restaurant companies and is the market leader in premium sports and entertainment dining. The company owns, manages or operates 91 locations, including 26 restaurants and 65 sports and entertainment venues, in 38 markets across the country, in Canada and the United Kingdom.
