The Hynes: located in the heart of Boston’s charming Back Bay is a distinctive location complete with intimate settings and exceptional service. Whether your event is a private meting or a trade show, our innovative Chefs are eager to partner with you to deliver a dining experience that will leave you and your guests wanting more.
With 41 distinguished meeting rooms, 176,480 square feet of flexible exhibit space, ample registration and pre-function spaces and the truly elegant Grand Ballroom, the John B. Hynes Veterans Memorial Convention Center is a place to celebrate the richness of tradition in a unique setting, complimented by Levy Restaurants’ award winning cuisine.
For our exhibitors, when you can’t get away from your booths, or would like to attract more traffic, we offer in-booth exhibitor catering. Our menus have been specially created by our Chefs to meet the needs of all exhibitors. Rental equipment, including ice cream freezers, popcorn machines, water coolers and cookie ovens are readily available.
Part of the Boston Convention Complex, the Hynes is part of an interconnected complex that includes three major hotels, two shopping centers, winter garden, terrace gardens and waterfalls.

Located in the heart of Boston’s historic Back Bay, the Hynes provides an ideal setting for events of all sizes. Pedestrian skybridges offer convenient access to some of the city’s finest shopping, restaurants and hotels without having to go outside – making the Hynes a perfect all-weather choice. Just minutes away Copley Square, the Boston Symphony Hall, Fenway Park and other historic landmarks and downtown Boston, there’s no place quite like it.

The main entrance is the Hynes Street Level entrance on Boylston Street. Coming from the south, the Mall Entrance is conveniently in the Hynes Court of The Shops at Prudential Center.
TRANSPORTATION:
The Hynes Convention Center is easily accessed by car and public transportation. Here are a few pointers on getting to and from the facility:
Via MBTA Subway/Green Line: Take the Green Line (B, C and D trains) to the Hynes Convention Center Stop, or take the Green Line (E train) to the Prudential Station stop.
Via MBTA Subway / Orange Line: Take the Orange Line to the Back Bay Station stop.
Via Amtrak or MBTA Commuter Rail: Amtrak and several MBTA Commuter Rail lines serve the Hynes Convention Complex to and from South Station. Take these services to Back Bay Station and follow the directions under “MBTA Subway / Orange Line” above. Visit www.amtrak.com or www.mbta.com for more information.
Via MBTA Bus Service: Multiple MBTA bus routes serve the Hynes Convention Complex on regular schedules. Consult schedules and maps at www.mbta.com for more information.
Cab Cues: To make your take off from the Hynes smooth and hassle free, grab a taxi outside the Hynes Street level entrance on Boylston Street.
PARKING:
There are many parking garages (more than 4,400 spaces) within a short walk of the Hynes Convention Center. Street parking is also available, though competition for the limited spaces is usually intense, and the meter readers are always on their toes.
Our restaurants and food courts hours of operation are based on events being held within the center.

With 176,480 square feet of flexible exhibit space for up to four concurrent events, 71,644 square feet of meeting space – including 41 permanent rooms, 160,000 square feet of registration and function space and a 24,544 square food grand ballroom, the Hynes is ideal for your next event.
The Hynes is part of an interconnected complex that includes three major hotels – the Sheraton Boston Hotel, the Westin Copley Place Boston and the Marriott Boston Copley Place and quick access to some of Boston’s best shopping.
Our chefs and professional event staff customize each event according to your specific needs and our menus can be customized to fit your event.
