  • I started with Levy Restaurants in 1990 at Watertower Place as a dishwasher. I went through several of Levy's training programs and received promotions over the next 8 years that took me to my current position today as Director of Operations for the Lincoln Park Zoo. This is the only company I have ever worked for and just can not imagine my life without Levy Restaurants.

  • I started with Levy Restaurants in 2004 at American Airlines Arena. I signed on the same year that Shaq signed with the Miami Heat. Needless to say the experience from the start was amazing. In my time with Levy Restaurants I have grown more as a chef then I ever would have dreamed. I started out making small plates for 50, now I feed a 150,000 people on one day. Working with Levy has been the best decision I have ever made in my career. Being the Executive Chef at Churchill Downs is an honor. To be apart of such a historic event and to be apart of team that provides the food and beverage for the 400,000 plus people in one week. Is truly the most rewarding experience I think I could have as a chef.

  • I'm about to start my 13th year with Levy. I started in March of 1998 as an hourly team member. I was promoted to an hourly supervisor, went through and graduated from Keys to the Future, and was then promoted to a Sous Chef. And now I am an Executive Sous Chef at US Cellular Field. I have grown with the company and learned a lot!

  • Working at Levy Restaurants does give you plenty of opportunity for growth. There are so many cool properties, from the restaurants at Disney World to great stadiums and arenas. It is amazing to just to see and be a part of all these different experiences. The team members at Levy also make up quite a variety of experiences. Each day I work with people who come from all sorts of personal and professional backgrounds, yet everyone just kind of melts together. Great people, working great together, to create a great team. The sky really is the limit here.

  • After my interview, I went home and immediately Googled Levy Restaurants. I was so excited to hear about all the great training programs to learn about this dynamic business and the many opportunities to build a career. There are so many career paths I can take here, I'm pretty sure I'm on track to be coming a Vice-President! Well...at least I can see the path.

  • Something I value about working for Levy Restaurants is that the Company is built of people who have risen up through the ranks. Many of our Company's leaders originally started their careers in entry-level roles. I myself started as an hourly concessions cashier at Ravinia Festival in Highland Park, IL. It was just supposed to be a summer job, but I fell in love with the Company and the wide range of opportunities available. Since then, my journey has included an Internship at Ravinia, a couple years as Concessions Manager at both Ravinia and Lincoln Park Zoo, a couple years as an Executive Assistant at the Home Office, and currently, I have the pleasure of being part of the Home Office's Learning & Development Team – as a Trainer. I'm so excited to see what doors will open in the future and am glad to work for a Company that both values experience and guides you to future growth and success.

  • I began my career with Levy Restaurants as Director of Human Resources at Navy Pier, February of 2001. At that time, we had a little over 50 locations in our Sports and Entertainment division, which directly reported to the VP of HR. Over the last 10 years, I have watched the Company experience tremendous growth while opening the door for my career path. I have been promoted 3 times; Director of HR Sports and Entertainment, Regional Director of HR Convention Centers and now Regional Director of HR. As a result of our growth, we have successfully created the Regional Human Resources Manager role to align with the Regional Directors and assist in managing over 100 locations in Sport and Entertainment and Restaurants. I currently hold the responsibility of HR processes for over 30 locations. I am proud to be apart of a diverse company with deep roots in the community and more importantly, we invest in our people!

  • From the beginning of my career with Levy, I've always been impressed with the willingness of the company to accept new ways of thinking and innovative ideas. I joined Levy after completing a month long contractor job at McCormick Place in Chicago. From there I was hired on as a Senior accountant, promoted to Location Controller, Regional Controller and six years from starting am now a Regional Finance Director in L.A. Being able to have input and be valued is a primary motivator for me and this I receive not just from my Manager but the company as a whole. The years have flown by and the future remains full of possibilities.
