Ford Field welcomes fans back to the Den for the 2014 Detroit Lions season with a slew of home-grown menu items and suite packages to satisfy and delight hungry game-goers. Adding to one of the most diverse selections of local eats in the league, new features include a Detroit-style Chili Cheese Fry Coney Dog, built on a foot-long hot dog from Dearborn Sausage Company, and a rotating Chef's Table on The Huntington Club level that includes signature dishes from local guest chefs using local ingredients.
The new local dining experiences include:
- Baked Potato Fries: French fries loaded with bacon, cheddar and chive dip
- Barry Sanders Fresh and Fit Meal: Barry Sanders and the Detroit Lions team up to offer a new Fresh and Fit meal in six locations this season. Guests can enjoy a turkey sandwich on whole grain bread, carrots, apples, juice and a limited edition Barry Sanders trading card by Topps. Fans could also win autographed memorabilia by tweeting #EatLikeBarry with a picture of their meal at the game.
- Detroit Style Chili Cheese Fry Coney Dog: A foot-long Dearborn Sausage Company hot dog topped with crispy French fries, Detroit-style Coney sauce, cheddar cheese and diced onions.
- Poppin' Nachos: Layered tortilla chips with cheese and deep fried jalapenos - spicy, crunchy, goodness
In addition to these signature dishes, The Huntington Club, between sections 200-214, offers Corridor Sausage, Mercury Burger, American Coney Island, Bigalora, Zingerman's Gelato and Russell Street Deli, rounding out a local culinary roster that also includes Midwestern craft beers and favorites like Slows To Go.
