The Kentucky Speedway is revving up for the 2013 racing season with the introduction of two new concession menus. Teaming with Levy Restaurants, the Kentucky Speedway is excited to bring fans Danica Patrick’s Fit Fuel menu, which features lighter fare and vegetarian dishes officially endorsed by the driver, and a taste of local flavors with the Kentucky Stillhouse menu, which offers authentic Kentucky cuisine influenced by the region’s signature drink – bourbon.
“We make sure there's truly something for everyone here at the Kentucky Speedway, and this season, we’re excited to build out our offerings to include even more healthy options and local flavors with our new concession menus,” said Kentucky Speedway Executive Chef James Pierson. “We work hard to offer really unique dishes that get fans excited about visiting us here in Kentucky, and make it a priority to create a memorable food and race experience for our guests.”
The Kentucky Stillhouse
Sponsored by the iconic Jim Beam, the Kentucky Stillhouse menu features locally-inspired cuisine with items influenced by or prepared with bourbon, and is located on the Concourse Level of the Indiana Tower.
“This collaboration is all about bringing the amazing flavors of the region to life at the racetrack,” Chef Pierson said. “The Kentucky Speedway attracts fans from all over the country and we want them to experience a real taste of Kentucky.”
Menu items include:
- Jim Beam Bluegrass Bourbon Burger: Juicy hamburger grilled to perfection and topped with cheese, lettuce, tomato and Jim Beam Bourbon BBQ sauce, served on a fresh bakery roll
