The newly-expanded Kentucky Speedway will open its gates for 117,000 passionate NASCAR Sprint Cup Series fans for the first time in its 12-year history when it plays host to the “Quaker State 400″ on July 9, 2011. The historic event culminates a tripleheader weekend that includes the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series “UNOH 225″ on July 7 and the NASCAR Nationwide Series “Feed The Children 300.” Action continues Oct. 1-2 when the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series is paired with IZOD IndyCar Series and Firestone Indy Lights action. Levy Restaurants will service the speedway’s 35 luxury suites, 2,100-member outdoor Bluegrass Club, 88-member suite-level Kentucky Club, new 2,000-guest Pit Road Club, grandstand patrons, campers on more than 3,000 sites and working media throughout the season.
