Wisconsin Badgers’ Chef Talks Gameday Dishes on ESPN-Madison

Last month, University of Wisconsin Executive Chef Michael Concepcion sat down with T.J. Rutledge of ESPN-Madison’s The Jump Around to discuss some of the new menu available for Badger fans this year, full of gameday favorites crafted with local flavors and ingredients.

While the Badger football season at Camp Randall is coming to an end, the Badgers’ basketball season at the Kohl Center is just getting started. Have no fear, Badger fans, you can still get some your favorite dishes that you enjoy at Camp Randall when you visit the Kohl Center as well.

“You can get everything we have here at the Kohl Center and more,” says Chef Michael. “Everything we do at Camp Randall, we do about 98 percent at the Kohl Center.”

The best part? This Sunday the Badgers take on the Marquette University Golden Eagles at the Kohl Center so you don’t need to wait too long to enjoy delicious menu items like:

  • Triple Coverage Grilled Cheese Sandwich:melted cheddar, Monterey Jack and Swiss cheese between two slices of parmesan buttered sourdough bread. Garnished with a pickle spear and stuffed green olive, served with a house-made tomato soup dipping sauce.

  • Korean Philly Cheesesteak: cheese, peppers, onions topped with gojuchang chili and Sriracha aioli.

There’s no better way to celebrate one of the best in-state rivalries in NCAA basketball than with an Ooey Gooey Grilled Cheese or Korean Cheesesteak in-hand as you cheer on Bucky and the team.
